Named by friends and fans in honour of baritone opera singer, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, this rose matches in beauty the legacy he has left behind in the classical world of music. The tear drop buds of Dmitri open into full, large-sized rosettes, which are mostly born in solitary. These unfold into snow-white ruffled blooms which hold their colour and shape beautifully. The plant reaches 4.5 – 5.5′ in height and has dark green mat foliage which enhances the pure white blooms with the contrast. In warmer climates it may be suitable for a small climber.
