BACK! The very healthy Bentheimer Gold® rose produces large clusters of rich copper and apricot blooms. The small bulbous buds open into a profusion of colour as they transform from a dark copper apricot to a peachy pink pastel. The flowers are medium in size and are very full with pointed petals. You can expect Bentheimer Gold® to reach 2.5′ – 3.5 ‘ in height. It is bushy in habit, with dark green glossy foliage. Notably, this plant has foliage with leaflets of seven rather than five. Due to it’s stature, this rose can also be used as a patio rose or even as ground cover. This beloved rose has been awarded the 2016 Baden-Baden Bronze Medal and Gold (Groundcover) at La Tacita, as well as the ADR-Sorte in 2015.

We ship throughout North America from the end of February to the end of April. We cannot ship outside of North America at this time.
When you place your order, select your preferred shipping date based upon your personal schedule, gardening preferences, and circumstances. You may have surgery or a travel schedule you need to consider. You may also have a green house or a micro climate that may require a different than suggested shipping date.
The general planting guidelines are as follows:
On rare occasions we may reach out to you with a different ship to date. This is solely to protect the quality and well being of the plants in response to ever changing weather patterns. Would we need to change your date you will be notified in advance by email.
All orders ship on Mondays. Canadian orders will be shipped via Loomis Express straight from our nursery to you. You will receive a tracking number from the Loomis Express.
We reserve the right to refuse to ship orders if we deem the weather to be too risky to the plant’s health.

US orders are exported to our US Warehouse and ship Mondays via Fed-Ex. You will receive a tracking number from the warehouse, Freight Boy Inc. On occasions these tracking numbers have found their way into our customers’ email junk mail. Before reaching out to us please have a look there for a Fed-Ex shipment coming from Freight Boy, Niagara Falls, NY.
We reserve the right to refuse to ship orders if we deem the weather to be too risky to the plant’s health.

The season for picking up bare-root roses is now finished. For the health of the plants, all bare-root roses have been potted. Pre-orders for the next bare-root pick up season will begin late 2024, and orders will be scheduled for pick up in Spring of 2025. More information will be made available later this season.
Potted roses are available for pick up in-store, while quantities last, until the end of summer. Our garden center hours of operation are Monday-Saturday, 9 am-5 pm. When placing an online order of potted roses, you will be asked to select a pick up date. These dates will only be available 48 hours from when you place your order, to allow our staff time to arrange the pick up. If you need to reschedule a pick up, please contact store staff at (905) 468-8627 or store@palatineroses.com as soon as possible.

As of September 9, 2024 our garden centre is closed for the season. Visitors are welcome in fall and winter by appointment only.
Our garden centre will open for it’s last season April 11, 2025.
