The Roberta Bondar rose is named after the first Canadian female astronaut. Of course it makes sense to name a yellow climber after a space traveller. This rose wants to reach the milky way and join the stars! She produces small clusters of large, double, and very fragrant, non-fading golden yellow flowers. Healthy for our Ontario climate, you can expect Roberta to be a good repeat bloomer as she does not set rose hips, putting her efforts into flower production rather than seeds. You can expect this upright climber to reach 8′-10′ in height.
