BACK! The very healthy Poetry® rose produces very large clusters of medium-sized, double blooms. These are in various shades of medium to light pink. As the bloom ages, the sweetheart pink buds open to a gently cupped flower with scalloped petal edges. With the generous abundance of blossoms and a more loose flower structure, this rose gives us both a poetic and yet free-form kind of overall beauty. This rose can be expected to reach 4′ – 5′ in height and has an upright habit. The foliage is leathery, and glossy, and is medium green in colour. This stunning rose has won many distinctions in the rose world, including the Gold Medal at the Rome Rose Trials and Golden Rose at Kortrijk/Courtrai Rose Trials in 2016, the ADR-Sorte in 2017, and the Bronze at the Australian Rose Trials in 2022.

Bare-root pick up roses were only available if pre-ordered in the winter for spring shipping or pickup. All of our roses are now potted. We will not have bare-root roses for preorder in the fall.
Potted roses are available for pick up in-store, while quantities last, until the end of summer. Our garden centre hours of operation are Monday-Saturday, 9 am-5 pm. When placing an online order of potted roses, you will be asked to select a pick up date. These dates will only be available 48 hours from when you place your order, to allow our staff time to arrange the pick up. If you need to reschedule a pick up, please contact store staff at (905) 468-8627 or store@palatineroses.com as soon as possible.
The status of US import tariffs is constantly changing, with recent tariffs being rescheduled, imposed, lifted, and extended again. Please know for the roses shipping this spring 2025 – If the US government applies a tariff to our shipments, we will have to pass this cost along to our US customers.
