NEW! The Für Elise® rose is a fragrant floribunda that produces clusters of deep red-purple blooms. This rose was named for the city of Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace, in 2020’s year of Beethoven (marking his birth 250 years earlier). This Kordes variety is an instant classic. These large-sized, full blooms open from bulbous buds to a gently cupped form, and flower in flushes. The foliage on this bushy, upright grower is a semi-mat and dark-green. This beautifully fragrant rose is highly decorated, having won the Nyon Silver Medal in 2020; the Warsaw Bronze Medal and ADR-Sorte in 2021; the Orléans Silver Medal, Kortrijk/Courtrai Silver Medal, Belfast Most Fragrant Rose/R.J. Frizzell Award in 2022; as well as the Warsaw Gold Medal and Australia Gold Medal in 2023.
