The blossoms of the Palatine-bred Queen of the Night rose are a deep mysterious mauve, turning to purple where exposed to sunlight. Small clusters of bulbous blooms open to reveal large, very full, and cupped flowers. These are scented of old rose with fresh notes of fennel. The rose is a tall and upright grower of 5′-6′ with blue-green, mat foliage. This rose’s unusual foliage and mysterious colour produces a rare combination.
